Golf del Sur
The maximum handicap permitted on the Championship Course is 28 for gentlemen and 36 for ladies.
As a general rule, gentlemen play from the yellow tees and ladies from the red tees. Players wishing to use the white tees must request permission from the Marshall, who will assess the request according to handicap and standard of play. To support a good pace of play, players may also use tees further forward than those assigned by default.
Players must report to the Starter at least 10 minutes before their tee time.
Tee times are arranged in groups of up to four players. Bookings for one, two or three players may be paired with other players or groups, wherever possible with a similar handicap level.
To ensure that all players can complete their round, it is essential to maintain a good pace of play and avoid unnecessary delays. The maximum recommended time for an 18-hole round is 4 hours and 30 minutes.
All players must comply with the course rules and dress code. A polo shirt or collared shirt is required. Jeans, sleeveless shirts, sandals and footwear that is not intended for sport or golf are not permitted.
Players using a buggy must observe the course traffic rules and signage at all times. Failure to comply may result in the buggy being withdrawn and, if necessary, the Marshall requiring the player to leave the course.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may not drive buggies under any circumstances.
Animals are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of properly accredited guide or assistance dogs.
The Course accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of players’ personal belongings.
The Course reserves the right of admission. Anyone who fails to comply with these rules or behaves inappropriately may be required to leave the premises.
