Manuel Piñero, founding partner of Target Ingenieros y Asociados, with more than 40 years dedicated to the world of golf, brings to each project the criteria and experience gained from competing on more than 500 courses worldwide.

He turned professional in 1968 and began playing on the European Tour in the early 1970s. His distinguished career includes nine European Tour titles, including the prestigious British PGA Championship.

Manuel Piñero's relationship with Golf del Sur began with the 2005 course remodeling and continues today with his leadership of the ambitious 2024 Master Plan renovation.

Under his guidance, the course is being transformed into an international benchmark for design, sustainability and playing experience—while preserving its authentic Canarian character and integration with the San Blas Natural Reserve.
