Players must hold a valid licence issued by the R.F.E.G with an exact handicap of ≤ 18.4 (men) or ≤ 26.4 (women). GDS reserves the right to extend invitations. Players with a foreign licence must provide an official handicap certificate from their national federation or their world handicap history showing the last 20 official rounds. A maximum quota of 10 places is reserved for foreign players without an RFEG licence, allocated to the top 10 WAGR-ranked players at the time. Maximum field: 90 players • 70 male players with the lowest exact handicap at registration close. Ties at position 70 resolved by order of registration. • 20 female players with the lowest exact handicap at registration close. Ties at position 20 resolved by order of registration. If the men's or women's quota is not filled, additional players may be added up to a maximum of 90.

Registration opens on 1 February via the official Golf del Sur website. Registration deadline: Friday 17 April at 12:00. Accepted players published: Saturday 18 April from 12:00. Tee times published: Wednesday 22 April from 12:00. Golf del Sur will contact players to arrange payment and confirm participation. Any player who has not paid the entry fee before the start of the competition will not be allowed to participate.

Withdrawals after the publication of the final accepted list will be filled from the waiting list until 20 April. Places vacated after that date will not be filled and will remain vacant.

Official practice day: 23 April, free of charge for participants (08:00 – 12:00). Prior booking required via golf@golfdelsur.es or by calling +34 922 738 170. Practice rules: • On par 4 and par 5 holes: players may replay the shot once, provided a different club is used. • On par 3 holes: players may replay the shot once, provided the green was reached on the first attempt. • On the green, players may replay a putt as long as it does not slow down the group behind. Players are required to repair pitch marks, refrain from marking pin positions with tees/sticks, rake bunkers, replace divots, and follow all circulation signs. Penalties: • First offence: warning. • Second offence onwards: the player must leave the course immediately.

In the event of a tie for the Men's or Women's Scratch Champion, a sudden-death play-off will be held, hole by hole. For all other prize positions, ties will be resolved using the best last holes formula: 18, 27, 36, 45, 48, 51, 52 and 53 holes. If the tie persists, it will be resolved by draw.

A minimum of 6 players per category is required. Champion and runner-up prizes take precedence over other category prizes and are not cumulative. Prize ceremony with cocktail reception for all participants after the final groups finish.
