After two intense days of competition, three rounds and different formats of play, today we can proudly say it: Miguel Galindo Aguado, aged 9, and Leo Calasanzio Borsellino, aged 11, are the CANARY ISLANDS PITCH & PUTT RUNNERS-UP!
This result fills us with pride and rewards their daily work, dedication and, above all, their passion for golf, supported and coached every step of the way by Paco Cea and Paula Pedrajas.
They were also the only pair made up entirely of children, proving that enthusiasm, talent and the desire to compete know no age limits.
They fought until the very last hole, and it was Leo's birdie at the decisive moment that secured their magnificent second place.
Congratulations to the champions, Bernabé González Alonso and César Fernández, on their great victory.
